You should consolidate you Credit Card debts. If you owe more that one creditors then it would make sense to transfer all your debts to one account. The minimum repayment would be much less than if your have to service multiple debts. Refinancing of debts is currently one of the strategies of card issuers to increase their portfolio. Therefore, take advantage of the balance transfer schemes being offered.

You should also look out for those special card transfer scheme offered in order to refinance your debt with another card issuer for a lower interest rate and sometimes interest is waived for certain period upon transfer of the outstanding balance. Often there will be no transfer fees involved. This will certainly buy you time to put your finance in order.

Two other options, though not very palatable are to sell your assets or refinance your assets to reduce your Credit Card debts. Interests on mortgage loans are lower than those charged by Credit Cards. Finally, you can  borrow from your friends and relatives to ease the situation in the short term.
